We’re really proud to be a partner of the British Computer Society (BCS), a member of The Chartered Institute for IT, and to have been recognised as an Accredited Tuition Provider to deliver industry-recognised digital and IT qualifications. This means that in addition to our own in-house courses we deliver BCS digital literacy related courses and qualifications.

Our BCS courses:
BCS SMART DIGITAL AWARD IN E-SAFETY (LEVEL 1)
This course teaches learners how to use technology safely, respectfully and responsibly, recognise acceptable/unacceptable behaviour and identify a range of ways to report e-safety concerns (KS2/KS3)
BCS ROBOTICS (LEVEL 1)
The BCS Level 1 Robotics course has been developed to engage and introduce young learners to digital technology at an earlier stage of their educational journey. Learners will gain foundation skills and knowledge in robotics by building and programming a robot using a visual programming language (KS2/KS3)
BCS THINKING AS A CODER (LEVEL 2)
The Thinking as a Coder course will help learners understand how to use computational thinking techniques to identify, analyse and solve problems. In addition, it will show learners how to design, write and test simple computer programs using well structured, efficient and accurate code (KS3+)
BCS LEVEL 2 CERTIFICATE IN IT USER SKILLS (ICDL EXTRA)
This course consists of 4 units which cover a range of IT tools using word processing software, spreadsheet software, presentation software and how to use IT tools to improve productivity. Level 2 certificate is equivalent to a GCSE (KS3/KS4/KS5)
BCS LEVEL 3 CERTIFICATE IN IT USER SKILLS (ICDL ADVANCED)
This course follows on from BCS Level 2 Certificate in IT User Skills and is a comprehensive
advanced qualification. This course consists of 5 units which cover a wide range of IT tools
using word processing software, spreadsheet software, presentation software, database
software and how to use IT tools to improve productivity. This course gains 24 UCAS
points to put towards university entry and other higher education routes.
